La Federación de Fabricantes de Artículos de Ferretería y Bricolaje, (COFEARFE), federación a la que AFEF pertenece, organiza la participación agrupada de empresas españolas en esta feria. COFEARFE convoca en nombre y por cuenta de ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, la participación de empresas españolas en la feria Eisenwarenmesse, que tendrá lugar del (6-8 de marzo) de 2016 en (Colonia) (Alemania).

AFEF looks at the evolution of the business environment that may affect us, and frequently detects movements and development changes that eventually may affect our sector.

We collect information about the newest materials, trends and innovations on the market.

We have an agreement with the Institute AIDIMA that allows our partners to get useful information in order to make strategic decisions that enable them to enhance their competitiveness and differentiate themselves from their competitors.

For common services related to our activities (attending trade fairs, trade missions...) we achieve unique suppliers that offer competitive prices for all our companies around Spain.

We offer our associates a business partner in different countries. We search native professionals to work as a representative and sales agent for a group of selected companies.

AFEF supervises the entire project with the idea of not only finding new business contacts but also consolidate international commercial sells.

We have a press department specialized in our sector and we send general and specialized news of our companies and / or our association to the most important media.

We organize seminars and conferences on interesting issues.

Considering the suggestion of our companies and their needs, we choose different topics of interest for the group and we make professional conferences.

We put all our experience in foreign trade, our team and our network of professionals available to our associates. 

Our goal is to enhance the professional training of foreign trade of our companies and their human resources.

We provide a database including industry statistics and market research of the most attractive countries.

• We also offer the an updated database of importers in some countries of Latin America.

It provides guidance to importers and foreign buyers at the time of contact with local producers, providing all information about our companies and developing business agendas. To complement this, we perform search tasks and investigation of potential importers for our companies in different companies.

We cooperate with our associates from finding them potential clients, until the business relationship is consolidated.

Our association does an important sector surveillance work in its normative aspects, technical and commercial; paying attention to all those problems that may affect their businesses together. If a problem is detected that could be important, we cooperate and mediate in dealing with Government or relevant actors.

We organize meetings with buyers from different markets in Spain. For several days, we arrange meetings between Spanish companies and the foreign importers, and then we work with both parties to the consolidation of the business relationship. 

We also invite buyers to the most important trade shows.

We organize trade missions to different markets. AFEF companies have subsidies from the Basque Government for such promotion to arrange the meeting agenda and cooperate with the trip organization.

This business trips provide an excellent opportunity to find new markets and establish business contacts with local importers or distributors. The choice of countries to visit is approved by the companies one year in advance. 

We cooperate with the most important trade fairs in Spain (Ferroforma, Eurobrico Maderalia) and internationally to gain advantages for member companies that participate in these events. 

We have been exhibiting at INTERZUM (Cologne), EISENWARENESSE (Cologne), ZOW (Bad Salzuflen), MOSBUILD (Moscow), BUDMA (Poznan), BAU (Munich), among others.
